"I would go to Mensch's all the time if I could afford it. The deli classics here are very good and there are some really unique things they do with the food. Smoked salmon is amazing, for example. So is the babka. It is expensive, though. That's the only drawback. Oh, and if they could just Toronto style bagels!!"

"I've been here for three years. they have a great breakfast in the offer. Previously he went to slickity jim’s on main and discovered this place right at me. they offer a small salad with their breakfast, good roasted yams and kartoffels and a very good coffee to boot! they only pull back to come when they arrive at sat or sun tomorrow after 10:00. the service here is in order. I have read a complaint in the west ender timeung in vancouver, but they really try to help them. it is not vegetarian, however, so my kosher abiding husband cannot eat here..boo hoo!"

"Got a grilled cheese recently from this truck during the Kevin Hart show Grilled cheese was just mediocre but I guess you can’t really mess up a grilled cheese. Service was so slow, not sure why it would take so long just for a grilled cheese. Waited for an hour when they said it would be 20 mins. Lots of people waiting and the people who were making the grilled cheese were moving so slow and just making chit chat as they had a crowd waiting for food. One of the girls making the grilled cheese had a full pit of hair and was just hovering over the food and buttering the bread. Such a gross sight to see especially OVER the food and in a tank top this was probably my main concern. Staff were nice but just so slow and it overall just seemed like they just didn’t care for anyone else’s time."

"I patronized the previous for years as it truly was the best place for deli in town. I went this week as I was in the area and it was kinda disappointing. I ordered what I always order, the large corned beef sandwich, a side of coleslaw, and a coke. The bread in the sandwich was so fresh I guess that it fell apart in the hands and I had to eat it with a knife and fork which felt kinda weird. The spices that the meat was cured in were a but overwhelming and you could barely taste the beef. Not impressed with the coleslaw either. I will go back and try a pastrami sandwich if I'm in the area. The place was busy with customers taking out so it seems to be popular. Service was good - better than before but its not cheap."

"I ate here a total of three times while in Vancouver including for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good at all meal.s The Ruben sandwich was great with a generous helping of corned beef that left me full. I also had their chili which was full of meat and very good. The staff is very friendly and the cook knew us by sight on our 2nd visit. Which helps you feel welcome."
