"Had wonderful lunch! Formule - merlu (fish) and eggplant with tomato and cheese roasted. A delicious meal with gazpacho to start. Daughter had tasty croque Monsieur on grain toast witht tapenade and jambon and we shared clarfouti cerise to end. Fresh and healthy and while we were very full it was at the same time light for the summer weather. Small venue, few tables but quaint and outside dining was pleasant."

"We chose this nice place by the Adour for a creamy coffee and it was a particularly delicious and well served coffee. So we decided to come back to eat at noon, we chose the Tartine Basquaise and the Gourmand Café. Excellent choice, it was a pleasure. Nice smiling staff. We will not hesitate to come back!"

"Pays Basque is a very meaty region and this was the only place, in a 2 week holiday, that I managed to get a vegetarian lunch that WAS NOT 97% lettuce. There was lettuce but not out of proportion to other ingredients."
