"Terrible service! I just drove in especially for their bubble tea, the time was 1/4 to 9... The young girl told me they ran out of pearls.... I asked for bubble tea with none... she replied I have shut the machine off and I don 't...want to turn it back on She had 15 mins still before closing with people still having dinner inside. I pointed out to her... the advertised opening hours said 9:00pm... To which she turned her back and started washing dishes! Wow! With so many great places to go to.... Such arrogant manners! DO NOT GIVE this business your money... they obviously do not need it."

"Perfect! Amazing food every time we have visited. We're from New South Wales, and the first time we visited, we stumbled across it. Not being a seafood eater, I was pretty hesitant, but decided to give it a go to keep the other half happy. Oh my goodness. We were back the next night. Second visit to Hobart, we pre-booked for 3 out of our 5 nights. If you're looking for a delicious meal, in a beautiful setting, even if you're not a huge fan of seafood, it's worth giving it a go. I rarely eat seafood, but always look forward to our holidays to Hobart, mainly for Mures Upper Deck"

"Good and delicious lunch. this place is what he says. fast, fresh and perfect for a fast, healthy lunch with a small southeast Asian zing. for $10, the laksa is surprisingly delicious and filling and at $9 the warm nudelsalat is delicious and good value, with a selection of protein (small or meat) I have tried the rice paper rolls that appear very popular, and although they are in order, I find them not great worth for money, plus they are individually plastic packed and heat sealed – something that I find a little like about."

"Given the lack of Singaporean, and Malaysian cuisine in Hobart - Kopitiam is "enough" to satisfy the terrible craving that one would get when living in Hobart for our routine staples . Their Hainanese chicken rice, char siews are all not too bad.However, given the lack of competition - we have found on a number of occasions that the service is poor, with inconsistent opening times. An opening time of 11am, and they would let us wait ( in the cold, with a baby ) 15 minutes without inviting us in despite the opening times. The second time we were there, it was before rush time, and the owner moved us twice, and moved another couple 3 times while they were eating to accommodate for " rush hour" when the shop was still relatively empty. And she did not even say sorry for the inconvenience. Given the poor service I have found it very difficult to return, however, the occasional craving for food from home brings me back every now and then."
