"Monk fish and lamb shank was lovely Red velvet cheesecake at £7.60 very expensive for what you get. Looked like they had sliced the proper portion in to two. The plate looked very pretty with the sauce. In this case style over substance. I sent it back. Then had the chocolate dessert which was much better value and was lovely."

"Le Sacrebleu, Northampton The food was delicious and very generous. Nice romantic lighting and very authentic host! The only negative was the uncomfortable plastic chairs, really felt it spoilt what would otherwise been a fantastic restaurant"

"Went for a meal with friends we were recommended the lamb shank which was presented beautifully. There is not a huge choice on the menu and is mainly for meat eaters with a couple of fish dishes and one vegetarian option. Prices are above average...but the portion size was good. One slight niggle they only had two desserts available and we shared a chocolate fondant which again was nicely presented. We had an enjoyable evening at this restaurant."

"What a gem this is. Sunday dinner for £7, £10 for 2 courses or £13 for 3. We've never had a bad meal here. Staff are always friendly, service was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Plenty of meat, certainly fantastic value for money."
