"I'll explain it as it appears. The food is good. While you see restaurants on the green street that is designed to pump mid-tier food for prices, you don't feel this here. The lonely man who runs this restaurant is as secret as you can. He doesn't speak much. He doesn't need it, his food speaks for him. I also forgot to take a picture because I eat too fast. Will add photos next time."

"The first time to come here and I was very impressed! Nick is an impeccable mixologist. My whisky sour and dirty martini was on the spot. He is very familiar with everything on the menu and his cocktails are the real deal, Evander Holyfield. Great props to Chef Zack and his kitchen staff. He stopped by and asked how everything was! Mac and cheese were phenomenal and my fillet was cooked for perfection. First restaurant (at least for me) ever done. These mushrooms and onions are however the best I ever had "

"The view from the patio is overlooking a lovely lake/pond in the distance. Very nice. Ordered smoked salmon off the breakfast menu. Very good and fresh. The bagel was standard, but all the other ingriedents were so good, it was fine. Wait staff was very friendly and accomidating. Perfect for breakfast."

"A reservation for 1:30 o'clock. our table was given away to a party with few people and our overall wait was over an hour. we ordered appetizers and drinks, they always had to remember bringing drinks. beer was warm. 1/2 the evening meal came before everyone. they had to ask to take the 1/2 dinner back and bring the appetizers first. then had to go to get our own cutlery and find someone who brings us water. finally the appetizers got and then came dinner with 5 of our orders only. two more orders came 15 minutes later. - what a man! will not go back here unless it's my last resort."

"Stumbled across this restaurant on our first evening of a visit to Champaign. We passed lots of restaurants along the way and decided to give this one a try. We’re glad we did. The pizza is amazing! We were attended by a very friendly server who offered great suggestions about the menu and gave us a quick history of the building when one of my colleagues asked about the brick interior. We were disappointed that we weren’t able to try the gelato because we were all so stuffed after our pizza:"

"This place has a lovely quaint rustic ambience. Perfect for date nights and anniversary. The food was delicious, I absolutely loved the cocktails. I had the Malfitano and French Sevilla Five, both were really good. The meatballs were amazing ! We were here for our anniversary and our waitress gave us a tiramisu on the house, which was out of the world."
