Probably the best restaurant in Champaign. Korean centric fusion sushi a bit of Italian thrown in. Food is interesting and very artfully presented. Menu is seasonably influenced (in early August local sweet corn cropped up in a variety of places) Sushi is imaginative. Wine list is small but thoughtfully chosen to go with the food. What User doesn't like about Miga:
We have had very good meals in the past, but this time it was a disappointment. The drinks are good, the sushi is fine, but the entrees we had were not stellar. Dessert is practically inexistant. View all feedback.
Miga is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the Urbana Champaign I've ever been to! The interior has recently been remodeled and it’s soo beautiful. I’ve always liked the contemporary atmosphere and, most importantly, the quality of the food is AMAZING without a doubt. I had sushi and sashimi combination with Katsu and both have been my favorites since years ago! Some may think the price can be a bit costly, but seriously, the quality of the food justifies everything!
Recently ordered the hibachi grill to go. Decent portions, and they give lots of veggies which is a plus. The hibachi grill set includes fried rice, miso soup, protein, grilled veggies, and two shrimp dumplings. The crunch french fries were disappointing- I don't think they can survive packaging as well and should definitely be enjoyed in the restaurant when that is possible again. Also to those ordering Miga to go, they are currently operating out of Naya.
My favorite spot for tasty Japanese food. fell in love with this place from the 1st taste.
Japanese food, mmm, super delicious. Nice place to think about business. Definitely worth going back to. The place has an awesome atmosphere. They have so many great reviews for a reason.
One of my all time favorite restaurants. Really good food, good atmosphere, and good service. Everything is very high quality.
