"We went to the New Inn for Sunday lunch. We had great expectations but were sadly disappointed. The food wasn’t very hot. My sister and mum ordered the lamb and couldn’t eat it. It had apparently been sous vide and usually this means that the meat is very tender but they couldn’t cut into it. The roast potatoes weren’t crispy and all in all the food was very much below what we expected. We did mention the fact that the meat was tough and the food not that hot and our waitress said that she would mention it to the chef. Nothing else was said to us. As I said at the beginning very dissatisfied and wouldn’t go there again."

"We went to Nupur last Friday evening, The staff were very welcoming as usual. Service was excellent and our food was good. The one downside was the takeaway part of the restaurant, people came to collect or order their takeaway and sat down and were served drinks. Then more people joined them, and it became very loud and just unpleasant for those of us paying to dine in. This experience would make me want to avoid this restaurant in future"

"I know you see a lot of reviews claiming they've just had the best roast ever, but this was actually the best roast I've had. Me and the Mrs go all over Sussex trying roasts and this place is in 1st place. The staff were friendly and approachable, the setting is beautiful and the food is delicious and full of flavour. "If we could give 10 stars I would! Visited all the way from London yesterday as for a family reunion and brought our dog along too. The staff were amazing, a young lady in glasses behind the bar was lovely. She filled our dogs water bowl even offered to clean it for us. Super dog-friendly staff is always a huge plus for us as we have a big dog (Boxer). The food was delicious, it was a very hot day my disabled mum wasn't able to eat much but they made her a lovely salad eventhough it wasn't on the menu. The atmosphere was great, the staff were fantastic and we had an overall brilliant experience. Would definitely come back again. Thank you for such a great experience. "Eating was absolutely amazing. the portions were very generous. I don't complain about it. if they are in the opposite and wish a wonderful Sunday roast. in any case they visit here. we could choose from bark, huh, pork and lamb. enough the choice I would say."
