"This is THE PLACE for great Aussie food. The Inverell Australia Cafe is exceptionally popular amongst the locals of the town....it has become a tradition where local families and friends meet for breakfast or lunch. If you want to find great food it is said that you follow the locals. So...if tourists want great food and also meet the locals.. it is the place to go. The cafe is famous for it's New England Farmhouse Style food with the aroma of Roast Meats... Pork, Beef Ribs and Chicken filling the air. Or maybe you would prefer a king sized piece of barramundi. Lamb Shank with gravy, Potato bake and vegetables is often my favorite on a cold and wet winters day. Roast Pork is offered every day on the Lunch Menu. The cafe has a relaxing and nostalgic feel....The floor plan consists of separate areas and the walls have collections of interesting artifacts from throughout Australia...procured by the owners Glen and Toni Milner."

"Perfect example that motels don’t change all sheets on the bed.I didn’t jump into bed until about 10pm so there was no one I could complain to or to get them changed was there for a night. I could feel I guess dirt, grit, grass in the sheets when I stripped the bed in the morning, it just confirmed that the sheets weren’t clean.I hope they actually changed the bedding not reuse the ones I put on the floor.The room was cosy but very outdated from carpet, tiles in the bathroom, curtains (which were broken) the blankets on the bed (you know the kind you got at Nana’s house that made you itchy) art choice. The water was nice hot but the pressure wasn’t the best.You had to pull the microwave out from the wall to turn it on which just showed they don’t clean underneath it. There was water in the teapot from I guess previous occupants. The floor wasn’t vacuumed could do with a deep clean. But what gave me a giggle was the toilet paper fixed to the wall like I know we had a shortage on toilet paper but that was taking it a bit far.Parking wasn’t the greatest as well.Close to town which was convenient.I wouldn’t pay $124 again for one night, it’s more worth the $80/$90 mark.Just a shame as we drove from Gold Coast"
