I booked through bookings.com at 11:30 am and had received my confirmation. Then at 3 pm and email came through to say the hotel had cancelled booking because they had overbooked. I didn’t get this email until almost 4 pm because I was on the road. When I contacted the hotel they told me it was okay it was booking.com‘s problem and they would find me another room.
