"The chef wrote to ask me what went wrong. This is what I said:Dear Mickaël,We had a very disappointing evening. I ordered duck with risotto and veal sauce, and my wife asked for pork with Roquefort sauce.I was served duck with veal sauce and my wife got pork with veal sauce. When my wife told the waitress that she did not eat veal, she was told that the the Roquefort sauce had veal in it.My son ordered cod and linguine but his food had a long lock of brunette hair in it. The pig's trotter and salad was good but the tomato tart, olive oil and Burratta Mozzarella lacked seasoning. The duck was well cooked but also lacked seasoning.When we asked for the bill we were given the wrong bill - for another table. There was no apology to my wife and son. I was charged twice for my starter (€9 and another €17.) The waiters said the pig's trotter and salad were charged separately but that's not what was on the menu.At €94, this was a truly disappointing evening.Regards,"

"After consulting the opinions on tripadvisor, I decided to experience myself. We had dinner with family last night, and frankly everything was perfect.Of course the decor is superb in this historic place, redoes with taste, but for the rest.........The service: perfect, discreet, friendly and pro our hotel master; Juan was able to make us spend a great evening the food: very good and copyy. "This restaurant is truly exceptional in that it has both wonderful food and ambience. Chef Guillaume prepares everything in an open kitchen so it is fun to watch and he uses the freshest ingredients and turns out meals that are pleasant to view and wonderful to eat! He, his assistants and wait staff always make us feel welcome and we do not pass up an opportunity to dine there and occasionally attend special wine-tasting dinners.Don't pass this up!"

"We hadn’t made any reservation this evening and had some difficulties finding a restaurant that looked good, was open on a Sunday evening and was not fully booked. Finally we ended up at Le Bouchon Saint Roch as a last resort, when we were too...tired searching any longer. The staff seemed a bit stressed and quite busy. It was possible to choose three courses for (however some dishes cost a few euros extra in this case), which we did as it seemed to be a good deal. If we had known that the servings would be so large, we wouldn’t have had three courses each. For starters we had one St Marcellin cheese roasted in the oven which was served with salad and potato halves so it was larger than we expected, and one tuna tartar which was also served with salad and a lemon mousse. The cheese was tasty, and the tuna tartar quite ok but the lemon mousse was too heavy. For main course we had one lamb with roast potatoes, vegetables and garlic purée which was quite good, and one tuna steak with rice and vegetables which was also quite ok. For dessert we had one “Baba au rhum” and one waffle with hot chocolate sauce which was good but somewhat too large and heavy."

"Repas en amoureux, une assiette type dégustation de spécialité mais servi dans un plat alu à plusieurs compartiments façon cantine et les mets sont moyens, et un plat poulet avec riz épicé : le riz était bon mais le poulet de qualité moyenne. Le fait que les commandes arrivent très vite après la commande et en même temps que l'apéro c est moyen. Service simple avec un peu plus de chaleur et de sourire serait pas de refus.Globalement déçu pour une addition de 33 €."
