"We were guests in the hotel ate in Turners Restaurant as it saved a taxi ride so glad we did. Excellent value for money; 3 courses for €45 and very reasonably priced wine. Staff can't do enough for you. 2 of us had the lamb for main and the other two pork and all were rated as excellent."

"Went there last Sunday for dinner and was left waiting 20 mins to be served, even though the restaurant was barely empty (maybe 10 people). When we did get served the man serving us had little to no interest being there and kept tutting and sighing underneath his breath, another 20 mins passed and our starters arrived. We were waiting for the table to be cleared then the mains arrived, the lady apologises and gave us our meal, my partners chicken was microwaved and half raw, and i was still waiting on the rest of my meal, when i went to ask our waiter he was at the bar having a pint and told me “go find somebody else, you can see I’m busy” he was very rude and ignorant. When i asked for the rest of my meal off the other girl we were told the kitchen was closed, after which i wanted to speak to a manager! I was laughed at and told “she’s gone home” You need to train your “staff” with more decency!"

"Another fabulous evening in Sherwood Lane. Their food is just amazing. Dublin bay prawns to start and Turbot with chefs specialty sauce with langoustines as a mains was to die for. My partner had steak tartar and the most amazing Rib-eye steak. Cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough. Well done Dave and all the lovely staff"

"This was our second time here. Nice venue to visit with family friends. Food was good and service staff were friendly and efficient. Prices for the food were as to be expected at this location but is it really necessary to charge €8 for own bottled water? We were charged €22 in total for water and when I mentioned this on getting the bill I was told that we should have been given the option of tap water (we weren’t). This seems a totally unnecessary skewering of customers when they’re already paying (willingly in fairness) above average prices for the rest of the menu."
