"I had the lunch specilal which this particular day was a Kofta with grilled haloumi and salad. Very tasty. Quick service. Coffee was good. It wasnt particularly busy which was a bonus because I was able to eat in peace with a mag. from the...rack. Tables spread well so conversation not heard from other table nearby. I shall be there every month from now on, and hope that the food keeps up to this standard."

"Siam Thai bistro on Unley Road has been replaced by a new Chinese restaurant called 'Yue Chinese Restaurant '. There hasn 't been a lot of advertisement for this restaurant and it was only by chance that I drove past Unley Road to discover that it existed. The moment we walked into the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly owner. The menu consists of the dishes that you would normally see at a typical Chinese restaurant. In my personal opinion, there are probably only a handful of good Chinese restaurants in Adelaide. Yue Chinese restaurant has been added to my list today."

"We had heard a lot about The Snake Charmer! The food is good, we were seated in the alley way, which wasn't real great, as it was cold. The food made up for it though!"

"Stopped in for a quick bite Friday night and as food came out super quick it was a very quick dinner. The service was friendly and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered a few shared dishes from a well thought out menu. The beef ribs were definitely the highlight and we were told its the house specialty. The pumpkin sounds great on the menu and the flavours work well but don't think it was cooked for long enough so didn't have the caramelisation the maple syrup should have brought to the dish. Instead it was watery and a little bland. The seafood stew was a little gluggy on top of the rice but had some nice flavours. The peas with feta and mint was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit and will return again especially for those ribs."

"We were looking forward to returning after the renovations were completed, after having had quite a few enjoyable meals previously. We were very disappointed with meals. Fish and chips had no tartare sauce, served with a curry sauce instead. Salt and pepper squid wasn't crisp...it did have tartare sauce which was shared with the fish and chips. The chicken schnitzel was far to thick. Each dish was served with salad. Mine was tiny tomato and a bucket load of lettuce, the other dishes were the same except they had a couple of shavings of cucumber. The decor was mish mash, some chairs had full backs some didn't, some tables were white, some were a ash type wood and some cream. It was very noisy, the acoustics were terrible. We were in the dining room and could hear the voices from the beer garden. The dining room wasn't overly busy, the service left a lot to be desired by the wait staff. Overall very disappointing, probably won't return with so many other choices around"

"My husband brought me there for my birthday and I believe he couldn't choose a better place.I had the Caserecce di Pancetta and my husband had the Spaghetti al nero. Since we are Italian, (and my husband is a chef), we know how the pasta has to be cooked and that pasta was perfectly "al dente", full of flavour and every mouthful was just a pleasure to taste. We tried the Arancini and even if I don't like lamb, I ate it all, just beautiful. We had the Olives as well and I was surprised to taste such good "olive all'ascolana" in Australia, it reminded me home. The restaurant is cosy and warm, the waitresses were attentive, nice and friendly. A beautiful dining experience that I can't wait to repeat."

"We shared three plates, lamb Tagine, Devils on horseback (dates stuffed w blue cheese wrapped in prosciutto and calamari. We wanted to try a dessert but couldn't fit it in. We will be back to try the famous dessert menu!"
