"Zeche: €62.70 General: I'm just trying to explain what drove us to Schwanewede into Athos. It was the good reviews on other superficial platforms. The statement of semigourmet in the pre-criticism on RK that at least the food is good service is bad, I unfortunately cannot confirm. Schwaneweder, who are shying wide paths, may continue to plentifully populate the Athos as on Saturday night, we will not embark on the trip a second time. After several Greek critiques in Bremen, I decided to form a ranking. It is based on RK reviews. A lousy comment at the reception and a very fast beverage service by a friendly young man made a good impression. There are counted six mostly younger operators and the host with a controlling view. As so often, we asked to take a break to the main dishes after the plentiful starter selection. This was not contradicted, but unfortunately also not offered to order the main dishes in the kitchen only upon our request. We had just finished our appetizer and sat in front of six empty plates and plates when an operator came with the main dishes. We refused acceptance. Then we got the feeling of being punished with ignoring. No one, even not the host passing our table several times, made an institution to clean up and ask for another drink request. I had to pick up an operator and ask to clean up and bring more drinks. Quickly afterwards the main dishes. As I noticed after a bite of Gyros, it was the food that was taken back, now only lukewarm. A cheerful attempt, as I said to the host. He quickly cleared himself, promised a fresh preparation and brought a soothing ozo. So our noticeable determination led to a crisis intervention by the host. Nevertheless, only three stars for work at the table. Beverage prices mixed: A Pils 0.3 l is available for moderate €2.30, the bottle of mineral water 0.75 l comes to kulante €4.50. The few open wines on the map start for the quarter at 4,20 € red or For the bottle 0.5 l of Malamatina, the 3rd 8,80 € is calculated for comparison: Symposio Bremen Neustadt: 7,10 € . From the house there is an ouzo for greeting and for billing. Food: We chose Gigantes 4,50 €, feta with onions 4,80 €, Calamaressalat 5,90 € and grilled Pepperoni with garlic sauce 4,10 €. The Calamarese piece with the typical can taste, the rather small number of Pepperoni was served with a thick strip of industrial cocktail sauce with a hint of garlic and the feta was once again one of the softer and taste-poor variety, in which I always fluctuate, whether I can taste sheep cheese or whether I can taste cow cheese in the card despite the express name Feta. The grill plates were once covered with liver and Gyros Leonidas, €10.80 and Gyros, Souvlaki, Kefte Frikadelle, Odysseus, €12.50. Apply the very thinly cut liver and the chopped. The Souvlaki shallow from cut and dry; the Gyros fresh and lean, but unfortunately faded and without as already detected by semigourmet and accused Tsatsiki served. In addition, the usual rice and a proper herb salad. The portion sizes well. The heights of the Holy Mountain did not reach the food and remained in the plain at three stars. Ambiance: The Athos is not a typical blue white Greek from colour and decoration. Only a few figures, indicated columns and music sounding provide the folklore. Dark wood tones, white scented masonry and warm wall and ceiling colours give the impression. We counted a total of four areas where many guests find room. The main space in front of the tress is well divided and one sits on bare, dark niche tables, which are sufficiently dimensioned, also the running paths are rectangled. The benches covered with artificial leather. After dark we felt it as dark, because the spots embedded in the elaborately designed ceiling are not suitable for illumination and give only little light at the tables. The quality of stay is good. A terrace is provided for the warm season. The toilets are spacious and fresh. Cleanliness: All right."
