"We visited the first time and stumbled on this place to lunch. it's a little bit knocked, but appeared popular so we were happy to get a table. the menu is limited as it is only the smallest. the food preparation areas there, but it was good quality, plentiful and service was friendly. would recommend!"

"Lovely décor and atmosphere and although very little English is spoken the person taking our order who we guess was the owner took a great deal of time to understand that we did not eat meat or fish. On the set lunch menu there was...an option for our dietary requirements and we enjoyed a fabulous three course lunch which was great value for money. Each time the jug of water was empty it was refilled and the same with the fresh bread. We found the restaurant in the morning and called in to make the booking glad we did as it was very busy. We were the last to leave and although he was cashing up the till at no time did we feel under pressure to vacate our table. The whole experience was wonderful"

"We wanted somewhere quiet to eat, rather than eating at one of the very busy places along the main street of Angers.The wait person was very friendly and helpful when placing our orders. It was very quiet when we visited early evening, but they seemed to be busy with orders for pizza (you can see the guy at the counter making them). We ordered beer on tap and glasses of wine. We observed that the small dishes of lasagne had already been prepared and were then popped into the microwave for re-heating. Not very good value considering there was only a very thin sheet of lasagne. The spaghetti bolognese was also disappointing as it was served on a sticky glug of tagliatelle or fettucine and not spaghetti that was described on the menu. There was very little meat and it was tasteless (I had to add a lot of pepper to give it any flavour). It was really inedible and so I left it). Perhaps we should have ordered the pizza. I left there feeling hungry and disappointed that we chose the wrong place to dine."

"All of our dishes were excellent (shrimp and chicken darts, beef foie gras / trio chocolate, very topped cheese plate). A very good time. A menu with aperitif, dish, dessert and wine bottle is charged €165 for 4. Quality is present, service to our convenience, I recommend."
