"I ordered a Beef casserole and what came up was full plate of what looked like braising steak which could have either been cooked in a saucepan, or a tin of meat (not that I have ever had a tin of meat), with a few...shallots and that was it! Plus about 4 tablespoons of rice. I was expecting a beautiful casserole, a bit more like a stew, there was no liquid at all., just the sauce that the meat had been cooked in. It tasted ok, extremely salty. I was shocked, I've never had a meal like it in any restaurant. It was very disappointing. I left about a third of it. The taste was nothing special at all, very ordinary. This was written by a guest at my table."

"I have eaten in Morrisons cafe all the time I have lived in Eastwood but this last 12-18 months the quality of the food has deteriorated. If a certain 2 cooks are on dutyI still try the odd snack but it’s not as good as it used to be."

"Pleasantly surprised with the quality of eating, three diners order a real mixed bag of meal from the menu. I personally had the black angus filet steak with pfefferminz and it was delicious. the personal was really helpful and ensured for everyone needed and when the bill came, we were very satisfied in deed. highly recommended if you want to eat high quality in a great atmosphere and without breaking the bank."

"My wife I went for a lunchtime stroll meal at The Broad Oak in Strelley. We had the tasty soup of the day the Macaroni Cheese meal from the great value for money Seniors menu. The staff are friendly welcoming. The pub also has dog friendly area. Only slight criticism is that the toilets need a bit of redecoration but we'll be back!"

"We love the cadland and his personal. it is a very welcoming and cozy pub, always warm and welcoming when the fires are illuminated. the personal is friendly and linguistic and always chatting. when we have mealtimes, they are excellent quality, like the drinks and snacks."
