"3 of us were driving up to Big Bay point for another event and we wanted good food at an affordable price in the area. I looked up the dinner menu on line before we went and noticed there really wasn't any vegetarian alternatives so I called ahead and was told there would probably be some fish from lunch they could save. When we got there, I also noticed not only were the prices on the menu not congruent with the prices I had seen online but they were no longer serving some of the items. Since the main courses were now quite expensive, my friends and I opted to choose soup and salad from the starters while I tried the soup and crab cakes We found the food pretty good but I found a few pieces of plastic in my garlic bread which was too soaked in butter for me to finish anyways. The decor was rustic and homey and our server was very friendly. When I asked her about the discrepancy she informed us, sometimes the owner forgets to update the website. It seems he forgets to update the menus as well because when we got our bill, the prices were once again higher than stated on the menu. At least she took the soup off my bill because of the plastic and I appreciated that. Still I thought $15.00 for 2 little crab cakes was rather steep and if the owner can't bother to update his prices anywhere, it didn't leave me feeling very valued."

"Truly the best food in town; the chicken parmesan with ravioli is my favorite; also love the lasagna. Eat in or take out. Have an espresso or cappuccino while you wait for your food. Friendly hard working staff."

"My husband and I went there at around 5:45 for dinner on a Friday. The restaurant was empty except for us. That should have been our clue that this is not a good place to eat. A very nice guy came and took our order....My husband had the club sandwich and I had the bruschetta. As we were sitting there, two other guys came in and waited about 15 minutes to get served at the bar. One of the men yell anyone here The same guy that took our order, came out of the kitchen and said I am the only one here so I will be there in a minute ONE PERSON WHO WAS WAITING ON PEOPLE AND ALSO DOING COOKING, UNBELIEVEABLE. Our food came and it was a major disappointment. My husbands food was ok but my bruschetta was the worse I have ever had. It looked good until I bit into it. All that was on it was chopped tomato and hardly a taste of garlic. There was no feta on it as advertised and no basil. The bread was not toasted the way it should have been as the tomatoes had soaked right to the bottom of the bread. It was so soggy I couldn't finish it. How do you mess up bruschetta, just ask this restaurant. I found the prices high for what you get. My husband was going to complain but I told him to just leave and pay our bill. What kind of restaurant has one person waiting on tables and cooking the food. He wasn't a chef that is for sure. We will never return to eat here ever again. It might get crowds on the weekends for the show, but certainly not for the food"
