"Went to Vivo for lunch! The decor is contemporary modern and very relaxing. The service was great! I ordered a pesto pasta salad and a slice of margarita pizza. Both were good. Only issue was the cost. The salad and pizza cost me £9! I have been to places with better more quantity for cheaper prices."

"Staying in King's Cross, and although there's loads of local restaurants, absolutely nothing ticked our boxes. Most looked impersonal and tacky and the rest had someone trying to persuade us to eat there. We had resorted to buying takeaway and returning to our hotel room. Stumbled upon this restaurant on the way back and what a find!! No pressure invitations, superb menu, and fabulous customer service!! Food was amazing and it was served beautifully yet quirky. This is our 1st day here, but we've already decided to return here and make it our local tea time meal. A truly brilliant place, and the staff are amazing too!!"

"There were two of us ordering two dishes and they managed to make two mistakes. Friendly staff but very slow. We ended up getting up to pay our bill at the till. Food was fine but nothing amazing."

"Couldn't really say that I have been here as I was appaled by the service and left before I could experience such awful atmosphere. Met some friends here as they had already ordered lunch so thought we could join them by having a coffee and wait for them as it is a cafe.<br br/>Walked into the cafe which had a self service counter as you walk in, was not greeted by anybody so assumed we could sit in and order when we were ready. Asked the waitress if we could order coffee and she told us rudely we had to wait as there were two tables in front of us. After minutes we decided to leave without the coffee as the waitress was rude and a minute wait for coffee was just ridiculous. She finally came to us and we told her we changed our minds and she took our menus away from us without saying anything.<br br/>At least the toilet facilities were nice, that's why Lara scores point! We wished our friends good luck on their lunch as they had already ordered and were waiting to eat. We left our friends but they gave us feedback saying they waited minutes for their lunch meals and their lasagne had little mince beef and slices of ham inside (pork in beef lasagne? <br br/>I hope this was a one off for Lara's as the cafe has lovely decor and could have potential to grow but the service was a real let down. The staff need to be trained on how to make their customers feel valued not make them feel like they are an inconvenience. I wish them all the best in developing this Italian cafe."

"This independent caffe is such a hidden gem that I almost unwilling to share! with a beautiful garden and winter garden (with heating) this caffe is ideal for sunny and rainy days and has an incredible view of the sunset (see photo.) the owner is a beautiful, warm and jolly mann who is proud of the creation of healthy food. he is also incredibly generous with homemade cookies and healthy snacks. meals are freshly cooked each day with love and carefree. always make sure to modify for allergies and food preferences, this is a great place for vegan and vegetarian (avocado and falafel baguette or lens soup are my favorite vegan options.) this is my favorite café in london that has not eaten anywhere since my visit. if they are looking for a beautiful day, is also near the new river walk, a nice place to feed the ducks."

"The aubergine is sublime, it was meant for a dinner and it was gone by lunch. Peppers etc. lovely too; it's not cheap or expensive, just worth it. The general quality of the goods in the store ia great, and some of the boxed goods/snacks from other suppliers are lovely now and a fixture of our cupboards (looking at you, raspberry biscuits)."
