"Con il consueto rigore, durante un weekend dalle parti di Villaco, sfogliando una rivista ho letteralmente "scovato" una nuova gestione, 2 bravi giovani (Kristof Walder e Fidanzata) , un cuoco slovacco volenteroso - Ian - ... Beh, serata calda, ma non troppo, fraulein Walder molto professionale ed umile, Kristof, boy friend brillante ed aperto... il menù classico austriaco, ed anche qualcosa di più, mia moglie ha preso una zuppa di pomodoro al basilico splendida, un insalata greca ed una wienerschnitzel...io ho preso una zuppa di funghi con crostini, un tris di carne alla griglia, kartoffeln salad, 3 birre, un palachinken, grappa e caffè...il tutto 52,00 €...terrazza all'aperto, un prato splendido e la possibilità anche di un bagno nel laghetto antistante (cosa che noi ovviamente non abbiamo fatto) - luogo affidato dal comune a questi 2 baldi giovani che, a mio avviso, faranno strada... Buona Fortuna Ragazzi !!! PS - Ovviamente si può mangiar dell'altro (anche lasagne e calamari ma noi non eravamo lì per mangiare italiano...naturlich...)"

"The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The Italian cook, Giancarlo, has planted his herbs in the little garden outside the kitchen, so when you sit down outside, you are surrounded by all the sage, thyme, oregano, marjoram etc. You can often see him go out of the kitchen to pluck some. In addition to Italian food, there are often themed events like Spanish Paella or American burger evenings. Friends of mine from those countries often comment that it “tastes just like at home” which is great! The place is a bit out of the way of the small city center, but it definitely ranks very high in my favorite places to go in Villach."
