"Nice mom and pop cafe with a mix of healthy acai bowls, Caribbean and Asian food. The breakfast burrito was small enough to easily conquer, but bit underwhelming. I appreciate that it was not a massively overstuffed Chipotle breakfast burrito. The burrito was quite simple and bland with just eggs, red potatoes, cheddar cheese, hand-cut pico, and cilantro sour cream. The red potatoes were really chunky and would have been better diced. Avocado or some guac could have really elevated the flavor and tied the ingredients together. The Mocha was nice, but not made from real chocolate as I inquired and just with a pump of chocolate. The female staff, who I believe is the daughter of the owner was super nice and asked me about the mocha. After a long pause of it 's... good , she remade the drink adding a couple of syrups and even offered to make me another one if I didn 't like it! Hands-down 5 star service. The mocha was a bit sweeter and sure enough tasted better. While the food and drinks were 3.5 stars, the attentive and homey service really sweetened the deal and elevated my dining experience. If I lived in the area, I would come back to explore the menu and love to support this great small family business!"

"They have excelent bagels. My favorites are the Nova Lox, and the Ham Egg And Swiss. Its unfortunate that they do not provide the Ham Egg and Swiss for delivery, and do not do substitutions... But, these are not a fault, per say, only a quality control measure to guarantee top quality."

"If you’re searching for a good French pastry and/or breakfast place in Portland, La Provence is a great pick. They are a local chain with a few locations across the Portland metro… but they do a great job of retaining the quality and service of a one-off restaurant. This location in particular is a step off the MAX at Orenco Station and is very convenient to get to. I’d recommend their eggs and polenta or anything paired with a croissant."

"I’m sad to say I rate this a 2 based on customer service mostly. It was my first time in and I loved the atmosphere, I’m currently a home-baker and loved walking in and seeing the lovely story of how this bakery came to fruition, as it’s a dream of my own. I walked around and smiled ear to ear just imagining Mindy bringing this place to everything she ever wanted!
