"Zur Germania's evil twin? Disturbingly similar Apfelwein-erie."

"Very nice location! friendly service, a great location at the römerberg, moderate prices and a petty-bourgeois cuisine. we had a delicious haxe with sour spice and like to come back."

"You can't drink more here than a beer. At least the shop does not invite. It lacks a beautiful atmosphere and the audience. The prices are okay, but it could be better. The service is usually friendly. Toilets, etc. clean. Sometimes there is insufficient soap. But beer is still here."

"Had dinner at Apfelwein Klaus on the recommendation of the Hilton Frankfurt City Centre for a close by casual place for dinner. It is a traditional apple cider basement cellar restaurant. Tables are large common tables that you share with other diners but as I had an early dinner at 7 pm, i had the whole table to myself as there were not more than a handful of diners that early on a summer Saturday night. I had the Frankfurter plate with roast rib loin, sausage, meatloaf, mashed potato and sauerkraut. The sausage and meatloaf were both pan fried to a nice crispy finish on the outside. The rib loin had a couple of chewy pieces but was still very good with a bit of mustard added. The sauerkraut is very sour indeed so I had trouble finishing it. The price was very low, service was good and quick and the food was generous in portion and good. Would recommend this for a casual dinner. Families are also well served as i saw a couple of families with children also enjoying an early dinner there."
