"We were allocated a time slot of 7pm however we were seated by 6.45as the restaurant was not busy. We then tried to flagg a member of staff down to take our order at 7.15pm. waitress took the order and drinks and took another 20 minutes to being out first drinks to us. We had asked a waiter to go and check in time for food. He did that and didn't come back to inform us of the time wait. However at the is point we got very frustrated and annoyed to where at 8.15pm we had no food still we ended up seeing the restaurant manager and obviously complained to where he didn't seem bothered no apology or anything. We will get our refund and I'm taking this higher. Pure unacceptable level of service for a restaurant that came highly recommended"

"The food was really delicious and well presented. the personal is very friendly and professional and well in the traditional dress. they have divided the restaurant into smaller areas with the use of voile screens that is a beautiful note, but the decor could be tied up with a bit of a bit as the wallpaper comes to some place. I would recommend the gosforth palace if they were a Chinese meal, but ring and book a table as they do to get busy"

"The pub was very busy but we still had excellent service. We were a large group and able to sit together. All our food arrived together without problem. Excellent choice on menu including GF and vegetarian food. Thank you"

"This is one of my local coffee shops and is a great place to catch up with friends or for those informal meetings. The owners are slowly growing the business and it has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. They serve a really interesting selection of teas and coffees and keeping adding the menu, it's the only place I know that serves rose bud tea which I love. They are also improving their food menu with an growing list of hot and cold bagels the bacon and egg one is to die for! The reason I've given four stars instead of five is due to the fact that their cakes aren't great but I can forgive that as the drink are. They are also very eager to engage with their customers through social media so I'm sure the business will change and adapt depending on what people want."

"We went here at a day out in Newcastle.The interior is very beautiful and the staff served us very swiflty. I had the King Prawn chow mein dish with green peppers and black bean sauce, which was absolutely delicious. I certainly recommend this restaurant."
