"Wouldn't have asked for a better stay. From the minute we came to the minute we left almost a week later, this was the place to be. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms immaculate and beautifully decorated, breakfast and tea time were perfect. The inn is a simple walk to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. We're coming back!"

"Cool coffee shop with great options for coffee/tea lovers. Simple menu to satisfy your breakfast needs. I ordered a Cortado which was made perfectly. Croissant and bagel sandwiches are delicious and made to order super quick. Indoor dining area could use a quick cleaning. Outdoor dining would benefit greatly from heating lamps as the weather is wicked cold. Clean and well stocked unisex restroom. Outdated flyers on community board, should really showcase current local info!"

"Got hot chocolate from the quick service, it was so disgusting, basically all water. It was so boiling hot when they gave it to me that I wasn't able to try it and discover it until we were far away. It tasted like they filled a cup with boiling water and then just added enough cocoa powder to slightly change the color of the water. When I took the lid off it, the liquid inside was see through. $3.75 wasted. Service: Take out"

"Great little sandwich shop. On line ordering was easy and everything ready for pick up. Sandwiches were so good and interesting.! Recommend picking some up before going into Acadia and then eating at one of the many picnic areas in the park."

"If you are looking for an upscale restaurant with a more intimate atmosphere, this is your place. The surroundings are unique as the restaurant seems to be in an old house that has since been converted into a restaurant. The lighting is beautiful and the waiters are all very professional. Especially our waitress was very attentive and friendly. For our dinner we started with the crab filled mushrooms and the traditional lobster bisque, both were tasty enough. For our duck we both had the lobster Flieduccine - the flavors here were also decent and the amount of lobster in it was acceptable for the price we paid. We finished the night with their blueberry apple baskets with ice - it also tasted nice (although I am part of my own fruit warps that I make at home and Galyns did not convert me, ha). Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would recommend you to give them an attempt if you are in Bar Harbor. You are located right in downtown near the port, perfect location for a walk after dinner."

"This was my second time eating here and it was good both times. I enjoy that the menu has labels for what’s vegan. There’s only two vegan meal options but I’m sure the staff could accommodate if asked."

"The black friar inn (pub) was a really uriger place. the people were super nice and they were well known. the non- vegan meals were delicious for our non- vegan children, but the vegan meals were less good. the hummus was pretty good, and the brot that accompanied him was delicious. we had the quinoa and avoc saladado, which was pretty dirty. they had another vegan option a vegan burger, but none of us ordered it."
