"I had been in several overpriced and indispensable restaurants. this was excellent in choice, taste, service, quality and worth. I would highly recommend it. I had a flat dish that was dressed nicely and perfectly cooked. this was accompanied by a delicious celery soup and a delicious cake for dessert. the price was extremely fair for all who were included and the portions were generous."

"Cozy establishment within a high concentration of restaurants. It is all in the burger. I had the casino royal. The pickled onions were the perfect compliment to the hot and juicy burger. There is even the option to use a gluten free bun or lettuce...wrap. Their plating secret is to keep the plated burger out of its juices. Great place, worth the visit."

"This is a beautiful place that serves very good eating to reasonable trips and has a beautiful garden in the open, which is perfect for eating in summer. After a long journey from toronto we had our first dinner here and was pleased to welcome...warmly from friendly staff and dinner and a few drinks (which were made very good, I would highly recommend."

"We were sat at a table and were not waited on for 20 minutes. We ordered 3 drinks and it took over half an hour to get them, AFTER having to ask multiple times. The pint of beer took even longer ? The (incredibly mediocre)...food actually arrived before the drinks. They brought us 3 mystery shots as compensation, but we asked for our drinks to be comped instead. The waitress said she couldn’t authorize that, so sent the surly manager over. Instead of introducing herself and asking us what the problem was, she just said “how is everything?”, forcing us to tell her the whole story. We explained we didn’t want the booze shots, and wanted her to comp our drinks instead. She refused and said she could only offer us a 10% discount. She was rude and I accommodating. Save yourself the bother and skip this place. A big thumbs down."
