"The wait staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. The restaurant decor was pleasant and seating comfortable - we were offered the choice of patio seating (which was street side and a little too busy for our taste) or dining room, which was just perfect. Doors were opened onto the street/ terrace area which brought in the charm and entertainment of people watching, but the atmosphere was calmer and the noise level was low enough to easily have a conversation. We asked our server for suggestions and were extremely pleased that we followed his advice. The veal chop (which has a more impressive name that I can't remember) was excellent- truly the best meal I've had in ages, and the wine our server suggested paired with it wonderfully. Our group of girl friends were finishing up our annually week long vacation and had experienced many good meals but we all agreed, this was the most enjoyable. I would certainly return and would happily recommend."

"This haven of peace is a gift of life to redo a health in a magical place. the leader and his team are in charge of the clientele. It's like the house and it's the happiness of big houses like that. We have already arrived there, it was already beautiful, we have returned, it is a happiness found, we will come back sooner than in our turn to enjoy delicious dishes concocted by a chef in the stoves."

"We were originally placed near the kitchen, but they worshipped our movement. I think that helped with any noise level. Eating was really good, though we had better desserts elsewhere. the personal was super, timely and attentive! I hope they look prix fixed dinner. this can visit more in the city!"

"I already reviewed the hotel, and the same hotel staff also run the small restaurant. It is beautiful. I would highly recommend the Foie Gras du canard. The main of fillet beef with crushed buttery potato with mushrooms in layers is one of the best steaks I have had for years, better than anything recently eaten in Cape Town or Johannesburg, and as good as top steaks I have eaten in Smith & Wollensky in Manhattan NYC or The BIG FOUR restaurant in San Francisco - yes it was really that good. Finish off with the cheeseboard and have Benedicte talk you through the choices as she is fluent English."
