"What a warm wonderful welcoming cafe excellent location great customer service, food fresh tasty and huge portions. Cake was delectable I'm currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI with my Big agnes tent Aggie since July 4th over 7,600 miles walked and I was welcomed in here with my huge backpack and offered a gifted meal drink and cake to go ..THANK YOU so much for making me feel do welcome . Fully recommend this delightful cafe and The staff def make you leave wanting to come back"

"Decided to travel 8 miles to breakfast here. Mistake! Restaurant nice enough looking. Considering this was quite early and not many customers the toilet (yes only one could have been cleaner and smelling nicer. But to the breakfast. I did think about having the full breakfast and this may well have been nicer. I opted to have two breakfast rolls. The rolls were cheap and nasty, think of a six pack out of the cheap and reduced section of a supermarket. They were really bad. I had asked for the bacon on my rolls to have the fat removed and to be medium to well cooked. I received cindered bacon. The fat had not been removed but in an attempt to perhaps hide it the 2 very small rashers of bacon on each roll had been had been cremated (may it rest in peace! I left half of each roll and had removed the bacon onto the plate. The server did not how to manage this she did ask if everything was ok and tried to just walk away as I told her no! Would not return! Tom"

"Church party of 44 had high tee in this wonderful restaurant. the service of all the girls was fast and they could not do enough to make our visit pleasant. the food was excellent and the cakes and the scones brought were delicious from this world. many thanks for having finished our day so well."

"A matching tee room opposite the troon left golf club. came with my family to brunch. good choice to choose, nice price and we chose the cooked breakfast that was delicious. only the reason it really deserves to be re-encreated, and we... are stuck with the hoovern as we ate! the personal could have been a little more cheerful. only cash, this is surprising, as in the rule card only available in these days! service."

"We had Steak Ale Pie Fish n Chips and two Full Breakfasts. We were only booked in for Breakfast but one of the lovely staff members Nicola, convinced us to stay for tea and we were glad we did. Food was plenty and very nice just what we needed after a long walk."

"Oh my word, me and ma wee mammy are in heaven with this place. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in, we had home-made potato and leek soup with a sandwich and a pot of tea. Absolutely delicious, you can't beat home made and good company, we will definitely be visiting again. Five star quality."

"So disappointed by this place! almost a year in the posaune and always excited to try blueberry. I wasn't very busy, but drift next door was full. we were in a small hurry, so decided to accept our 4 rolls of blueberry because it was calm that it would not take so long. there were people on 2 tables and both had already eaten them, so our food order was the only one that was put at that time. the order to leave the caffeine lasted 20 minutes and given as we only ordered 4 rolls that are ridiculous for a farewell. also asked 2 of the rolls to have sauce we discovered after the caffeine never had. everything in the rolls was in order, but wait that long for such a simple order ruined it. I would hate to see how long an order would take place if the place was actually busy. Perhaps there is a reason why drift was much more busy next door."
