"We've been going to Mermaids since they opened. Arguably our favorite Cape May breakfast joint. We recently wrapped up a family vacation with 17 people for breakfast. Mermaids was perfect, food got great compliments from all. Maggie the waitress was very accommodating. We will return and thank Mermaids for taking care of the large group on short notice!"

"Great food with several options to eat. There's the restaurant, the raw bar, take and the Schionership. We ate out of the bar. We ate our food on the deck with a great sunset view. Soft bowl crab sandwich was not a joke and the best! Fresh shrimp, oysters and shrimp pizza also excellent. Great place for children and big parties, where you do not need a reservation or need to wait hours. Outdoor dining is great."

"Excellent. The butter roll and delicate cooled lobster pieces that we have only complicated by the big pimples and Cape Cod chips. Service was fast, easy and friendly. It wasn't cheap, but that's not what I'm looking for in my lobster."

"I had the fried seafood combination. A lot of fish. Huge crab cake , all crab meat. Large scallops and shrimp and delicious fresh flounder. Enough for two meals! The steamed little neck clams New England clam chowder a must!!!"
