"Amazing restaurant where the entire staff seems devoted to providing each guest a wonderful dining experience. Probably the best we have ever had food, wine and service. So good we came back for a 2nd night of our three nights in Quebec. They created a new tasting menu for us since we had enjoyed that the previous evening."

"Désireux de passer une soiree agréable à prendre un verre avec un groupe de jazz nous avions décidé de passer au café-bar Artefact de l'Auberge St-Antoine. Sans inquiétude de par la réputation de l'établissement. Le seul service que nous avons eu a été celui du jeune homme de l'entrée qui nous a ouvert la porte avec un sourire. Nous avons attendu 15 minutes face au menu en haut des marches. Les serveurs passaient, même le gérant, ils nous regardaient, sans aucun sourire mais surtout sans jamais venir nous voir. Seule la chanteuse du groupe nous regardait et semblait mal à l'aise. Un autre couple derrière nous attendait aussi et on eu droit au même service. Après ce délais on a décidé de monter à la mezzanine pour apprécier tout de même le spectacle. Les tables étaient replis de verre des anciens clients. Personne est venu ramasser les verres vides et encore moins nous servir. Nous avons jamais vu un aussi grand manque de service de politesse. Si vous voulez passer une soirée avec un show de jazz avec SERVICE...montez à l'hôtel Clarendon. Ils savent eux recevoir."

"A lovely restaurant with a great view overlooking the Frontenac terrace and Basse Terre below. But the food was only OK. We started with two soups: their French Onion and the soup of the day. Odd to complain, but the onion soup was so heavy handed with cheese and bread that it was hard to dig down into the nice onions and broth below. For our main plates we had an uber-rich order of cavatelli with black garlic and cream sauce and tasty sauteed mushrooms and a puff pastry stuffed with a bland goat cheese and spinach stuffing atop a underdressed salad (oil but no discernable lemon or vinegar. Our shared tartlet (honeyberry with almond cream and raspberries was fine. Just somehow we had expected the food to match the surroundings and it didn't quite make it."

"Excellent meal! We really enjoyed the tasting menu with all locally sourced ingredients. Such a wonderful opportunity to try new things we don’t often (ever) get at home (Florida). Our table was on the finished patio room, the restaurant was warm and inviting, service and the food were great and the ambiance of the snowstorm was perfect! "
