"I’ve eaten at Red Lobster quite a few times. This visit was not like the others. We had a reservation for 5:30, and were not seated until 6:30. The “busser” literally sat us down, gave us a menu and walked away. Didn’t offer a simple drink such as water. We waited for another 15 mins for our waiter to come and offer us drinks, NOT take our order. Another 10 minutes go by, we get our drinks, then place our order. While waiting for our food, a different waitress came and started delivering food to our table without saying a word. Mind you, it Was NOT our food that WE ordered. So after being there already for an hour and half, we finally got our dinner. The food was good, no complaints there. But the service was less than what is expected from a restaurant that people spent well over $100 for just 2 diners."

"Very disappointed. Came with my son to celebrate an event. Very strange taste and texture to the lobster, shrimp and salmon I had. Everything was soaked in butter, but even the butter tasted odd. I left half my lobster on my plate. Actually felt a little sick at one point. My son order the petite lobster tail…. Same thing. At first I tried to make him eat it because of the price, but as the meal went on, and I felt sicker and sicker I apologized to him and said don’t even worry about eating it. I didn’t need him getting sick in the Jeep. He ended up not even eating any of his lobster. The best part of my plate was the mashed potatoes. My son only ate his fries. Everything else was basically inedible. After, he asked to get some candy to “get the taste out of his mouth”. Overall very disappointing. Service was good though."

"I was really excited to check this place out based on the 5-star reviews. I really liked the vibe it had, very cozy and I could see myself reading there for hours if given the time. However, after waiting two minutes to be acknowledged by the cashier, I ordered two drinks, both to be made with almond milk. I waited for 15 minutes for the first drink and it was not made with almond milk, so it had to be remade. The other drink had still not come out by the time the other drink was remade. When the second drink came out an additional 5 minutes later, it was also not made with almond milk. Overall, unimpressed."

"Had a nice dinner experience. the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. river view with the damm was also very beautiful. the restaurant was clean and well maintained. the service was good and the flow of food that arrived at the table was perfectly spaced. they enjoy a blueberry basilikum margarita, which was a great mix of sweet and tart. also enjoyed some tasty truffles before steak and scallops for dinner. highly recommended to enjoy a few excuses and drinks or for a nice quiet evening meal experience."

"My expectations were way too high for this place. Stopped in for a drink and the bartender had the personality of sand. I ordered a vodka and seltzer. The seltzer was flat on both guns. He offers me tonic. I just ask him to add more ice. Didn't offer to make something new I paid $10. $8 drink plus $2 tip. I was the only one in the bar. When I left he didn't say thank you or have a good night. Won't be back"

"My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here. My wife had Captain Sully's trio, Scallops, Shrimp and Haddock, with a twice-baked potato. I had a filled tylloin with jalapeño and garlic butter, and potato skins we both had a southern old-fashioned sweet. That was my second time at Red Ox, good food last time and again great."

"Such a great restaurant! I have been here for a business lunch and most recently dinner with my husband. The food is very flavorful and great prices! Cocktails were well poured. Service was excellent! I love the low lighting. It creates a calming andintimate dining experience. We will be back!"
