"For me it was under the line an experience with two one-star courses (foie gras and pastrami, the latter with light smeared) and the other two at 2 to 3 stars level. under the line an excellent experience and the for €69 p.P. as well as corresponding glassy wines for just as reasonable rides. for 2 people I landed at €200. My accompaniment has asked me more than once if we can't go back to Kolmarien."

"Unbelievable 2 star gastronomic restaurant. The service is fluid and graceful. The dishes are divine, a mixture of French and Asian cuisine. The mouth lovers are very good, the dessert was my favorite part and the dessert trolley with a hot tea to finish in beauty! Beautiful and very chic!"

"We followed our fellow Trip Adviser's rave reviews and once again they steered us to the exact perfect spot. This time it was a cozy, kitschy authenticity French dining experience in Colmar. You must reserve in advance as we saw disappointed diners turned away all night. You will want to be sure you request one of the tables upstairs. We showed up at 7:30 and were among the only people there but we later learned that the French dine at 8:30. Prepare to enjoy a long, leisurely delicious dinner that begins with a cream of mushroom soup shooter and ends with an after dinner drink, both on the house. My bf ordered beef with cream peppercorn sauce and the cream brûlée and I opted for scallops in lobster sauce. The waiter spoke enough English to translate the menu and was very kind. This restaurant is on the outskirts of the city center making it feel even that much more of a delightful find."

"We literally managed to eat some fresh Alaskan King Crab legs yesterday and they were the best we ever had. Every penny worth and better then every restaurant would have. We recommend Capt'n Chucky's 100%. People are very nice and friendly and the crab cakes and seafood are enormous."
