"This was the only best dining night we had during our visit to Edinburgh. We booked for Sunday night, so we could enjoy live jazz as well as good food and wine, and it was great. The music was wonderful and after the booked combo there was an open Mike type jam that revealed the local talent. The food was good and the glass wine list was enough to satisfy our needs. This is a bar restaurant, so if you just want to come by for a drink, you can do that too."

"We visited stockbridge restaurant for the birthday of my mannes. we had a really wonderful meal, since eating was excellent and beautifully prepared. my starter was the hand-picked scallops, followed by the duck breast with roasted root, and my dessert was the chocolate, banana and around mille-feuille with bananenparfait. everything was perfectly prepared and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. a fabulous evening we enjoyed immensely. we recommend this fabulous restaurant."

"Nice place and when food arrived it was very good. The service was very slow and time between starter and dinner was lengthy to the extend of finishing a bottle. Perhaps these issues were magnified as where we were sitting at the back of the restaurant it freezing, so much so we ate with our coats on. Get the windows draft proofed and this restaurant could be a wee find."
