"We visited here on Tuesday evening using a Travelzoo voucher. And we were so pleased the voucher introduced us to this fine restaurant. From the start we had lovely service friendly, informative and professional. Our food was delicious without exception the lamb and beef cooked to perfection. All seasoned beautifully too. Would highly recommend The Salt Cellar. One of the best meals we've had!"

"They make them good from the beginning, we came without booking I would recommend the booking, since it is very busy, they found us table after a short wait, and young it was worth waiting to eat fantastic, service was also excellent and staff where very friendly, my recommendation when they are in the opposite, they need to eat here! until soon"

"We stopped here looking for a light lunch on a miserable rainy day . The pub was very covid safe thanks to the very conscientious staff .The menu is quite limited as most are and although we were looking for a light lunch my husband chose fish chips which was a huge portion , beautiful fresh fish . I chose ginger and lime fishcakes which were very nice . The pub is dog friendly .It felt quite chilly but I think this was because the day before it was gloriously sunny . Overall not bad for a simple pub meal ."

"I hate to give a negative review and hope that my experience was due to covid. a vegan dish (chickpea and squash curry) was terrible. no vegan starter or pudding. I ate with no vegan and they were also disappointed (all was deep fried or microshaft). Finally, the price point was far too high for the quality of food and lack of imagination in the menu. the sloop should not be seen as vegan friendly."

"I thought the best cod I had ever eaten was at a small stall near the harbour in Rejkavik…..until I had lunch at the Billycan yesterday ! The cod goujons were silky smooth, almost pearlescent and the batter was light. The chips and salad were perfect. My husband described his beef medallions as phenomenal, generous and cooked exactly as he wanted. The service is fantastic, quietly efficient and attentive. My new favourite restaurant in the world !Thank you for a superb lunch. (As a bonus, the dogs came too"
