"I dined here for the first time as part of a group of about 20 for a holiday party. My partner and I were the second couple to arrive; we got there about 10 min early. I was a tad surprised that after waiting a while, we had to get someone's attention to order wine. Our (older female) waitperson met our needs but just mechanically. I almost got the sense that we were a burden to be tolerated. However, she was efficient and our orders were brought in a very reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious, from our house salads to my vegetable penne and partner's meat dish. I was again surprised that our wine glasses sat empty a long time without anyone asking if we'd like another. Most restaurants tune into that detail since it's where a lot of their profits come from. No worries; we just got someone's attention and asked for the second glassfuls. My next surprise came when the wait staff very efficiently cleared our dishes as soon as we were done with them but did not ask if we were interested in dessert. So I made that wish known and she told us what was available. Partner ordered the chocolate cheesecake and I got the creme brûlée. Once again, it seemed odd how the staff seemed more interested in moving us along than in our money.Finally the couple across from us, whom we did not know until that night, got their bill but nobody else at the table got one. They were fretting over it for a while before we all realized it was for the entire table. None of us had brought cash, only credit and debit cards, so we asked to have the bill split, as we had never been asked who was with whom and we did not know the other people at our table. We were told that it wasn't possible to re-ring our checks and that this was an agreement from the beginning (that was not verified by the organizer). We wandered over to the other two tables to see how they were faring with the service, and about half of them were also muttering about "attitude" from wait staff. However, I can say that two younger staff members, one male tending to water and bussing, and one female server, were awesome--nothing but helpful.When my partner went up to get the whole bill mess figured out, the proprietor definitely did not take a "customer is always right" attitude. I overheard many in our party declaring they would not ever be back. How sad that our first impression had to be so negative just because of one server who didn't make us feel welcome and a silly misunderstanding over the billing."

"Four people arrived for 7 pm reservations on Jan 14, 2017. Ourselves and U.S. guests. Dinners not served until 9 pm. Had to ask for bread. Beer served without a beer glass. Had to ask for one. Had to go to bar and ask for the check. Long waits for ordering. Long waits for salads. No explanations or apologies. Although wait was long no one asked about 2nd drinks. Others came after and were able to leave before us. Contacted restaurant by email and regular mail and did not receive ANY acknowledgement or reply. Very bad handling."

"First of all, we weren't planning on returning to this location, as the last time we were here, it was a bad experience as well. Decided to try again, as we were invited to go with friends to celebrate a birthday. We all ordered a...drink when we were seated, to enjoy BEFORE our meal, not during. After asking times and getting the excuse that the bar was backed up, we finally got our drinks after a min wait and at the same time that our meal came. I had asked when I ordered my meal if my salad would come first, as it was one of my sides. Our waiter assured me that it would. Well, I got my meal and no salad! Our waiter once again apologized and said he forgot to bring my salad. I have never had a server say I'm sorry' so many times during a meal. He also never once came back to see if everything was ok. He probably didn't want to hear about the drink and the salad. One of my friends had crab legs with his meal and didn't get the crackers for them until he was half way through his meal. Red Lobster used to be a special treat for us and enjoyed it immensely. This has not been the case on our last visits. The management seriously needs to step it up a notch and maybe train your servers properly. This was a very disappointing experience, not once, but twice in the last months! We will not be returning. There are other places to get good seafood that isn't a chain, and knows how to treat their customers right.For the price of the food, which has increased again, service should be top notch!"

"For us this is a up scale restaurant. We like to indulge sometimes. I love in the winter when they put a fire on outside. You can get a 3 or 4 course meal for 50.00"
