"I visit the Australian National University regularly for various activities I am pursuing in retirement. There are plenty of cafes on and near the campus but my favourite is As You Like It. Whether it's a take-away coffee, a sit-down coffee and cake, or a nice lunch with a glass of wine, it's always relaxed and friendly. The menu has plenty of variety and offers good value. And the coffee quality is always consistent,"

"My wife and I went to this small but tasteful resteraunt for some quick pre-dinner drinks before the movies - classic date night, I know right?! Whilst I had been there during the day to have a good cup of coffee and toast during work (don't tell them), I saw they did 'Wings and ribs' on the window, so I thought to myself, "Self, how bad can it be?" We were pleasantly surprised and ended up having delicious pizza and a glass or two of really good local Canberra wine to wash it down. All of this with a really nice view of the workers bustling home from their days in the office - accompanied by the backdrop of Glebe Park (whilst a little more 'sticky' than when the leaves are out - still beautiful). End of the day, good pizza, great local wine and once the candles start to illuminate the place as the sun falls below the horizon, the place takes on a whole different, relaxed yet cool vibe. Well worth a look."

"Had breakfast here. Like others have stated, its busy inside and out. The tapioca pudding was nice according to the wife, the eggs benny with one rasher of bacon was tiny compared to the smashed avo with peas which the neighbours had. The drinks were luke at best."

"Went for dinner with the family and the food was passable to average. Unfortunately we were given a very undercooked steak, which had to go back. The kitchen fixed up. The lamb curry was good and pizza ok."
