"Just had my first feed at The Twisted Olive and I am speechless!! Alan (my partner) and I shared and loved the mezes for 2 to start. Alan couldn't get enough of the grilled octopus(I'm not a seafood eater) and the pork kalamaki. I had the chicken kalamaki as a main. Everything about the experience was DEVINE! The music had me singing along and the setting was modern rustic with a peaceful vibe in the back courtyard away from the huddle and bustle of the local Surry hills.. there was so many choices to make I wanted to try everything so I know I will be back sooner rather than later!! I'm going to recommend this place to everyone I know!!"

"Tried the Falafel wrap and it was actually really good. I've had a lot of falafel over the years and this one is good to go. The bread reminds me of the bread used in the Chalupa from Taco Bell, which is a good thing because it's the best texture and flavor combined I think."

"Placed an online pick up order for roughly 20 people, and they had a pick up time of 1150 for a meeting that was supposed to start at 12. The order was not ready until 1210, which completely defeated the purpose of getting food ahead of time for the meeting. Do not recommend, don’t go here. They wasted 20 minutes of my time."

"The food here is really solid. They have a really beautiful decor as well. This would be an ideal place for big party dinners, if they weren't always so busy. I think the atmosphere is absolutely a worthy experience for everyone at least once. Trust me, you will fall in love.A few years ago we had a party here for a group of 10 and they were so accommodating. Once I was able to go back to work, I started ordering lunch delivery from them. It can get pricy if indulged in too often but who can resist Greek food? So good."

"Best Greek food I’ve had in a while! All the dips were ah maz ing, Meat was juicy, Calamari succulent, salads well dressed and seasoned over all a very satisfying banquet. Serves are generous and reasonably priced. Service was on point and I loved that the owner was sitting with other customers and made everyone feel welcomed. I love that sort of home style hospitality where they know your name. I will definitely be frequenting Mama Pita and highly recommending it to everyone. With a few Greek restaurants already on the street this is a MUST try.... and makes for health competition trust me it will become your local go too in no time!"
