"This is a great location, in the center of the city and underground. It was the first time we were there, as it changed from Chaucer's, and were pleasantly surprised. They still enjoy the stand and the cozy area at the fire. Initially a little quiet for a Friday night, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they were dropped off from their delivery company, so the menu was very limited no fish or dough, which affects some of our decisions. The staff was brilliant with excuses and reduced our bill, which I thought was excellent service. Ending up with the Sojaburger, that was very tasty and one of the better veggie options I had recently. Chips were also beautiful and hot. As Marsden you know what you'll get, basically higher end chain crawl. Don't forget to sign up to their newsletter and get a free drink in the house!"

"I absolutely love this pub. Me, my husband and daughter all go together for food regularly. It's always clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful and attentive. Food is fantastic and drinks are always lovely. I can't rate it highly enough."

"Pretty disappointing overall. Service was pretty good but the food was very mixed. My partner had the gluten free bun, which was pretty much inedible, even by gluten free bun standards it was terrible! Our waiter did offer to replace it with a salad which was a plus. I ordered a salad instead of the fries and got 3 small lettuce leaves and a radish, there was more salad in the burger! The burgers themselves were OK but very pricey, I'd expect much more for the cost. Definitely won't be going back."

"A fantastic 100% vegan caffe with a choice between cheeky and healthy. I love the quinoa and walnutsburgs, as it has many food and tastes. the cakes in rabbit are something else, love it! definitely worth a visit <3"

"It's a lovely pub but if your sat at a table near the men's toilet the smell is very unpleasant we sat by the machine and had to move due to the smell. Which is a real shame as its a nice place."

"Me and my parents went as it’s my dads birthday today and we fancied some burgers : we were promptly sat and shown the menus and had enough time to decide on drinks, yet as there was so much to choose from had to ask for more on food. we ordered our food, i got the “smokehouse ruby steak burger” with some rib burnt ends (which i had never heard of before today! i work somewhere that sells brisket burnt ends not rib burnt ends! the food arrived very quickly and was amazing! i definitely recommend coming with an empty stomach as it was very filling and i wasn’t actually able to finish all of it! regular check backs by all staff made us feel very welcomed and cared for while there, and all staff were very nice and helpful, i’ll definitely be remembering some of the stuff they said to use when i go back to work!! thank you guys and keep up the good work! :"
