"You gotta eat here. The experience begins the moment you walk through the doors. The service and atmosphere really encapsulated the idea of a southern style BBQ spot. The variety and ability to mix and match various meats and sides is great. Nashville hot chicken is the closest thing you can get to Nashville up north. Brisket has great flavour, and I was given a variety of fattier and leaner pieces. Don't get me started on the ribs. So good. Fell off the bone and melted in my mouth good. The baked beans were cooked and rendered within pork fat and had the most amazing smokey flavour. Lets not forget the details of a buttery cornbread and pickled onions on the side. Although pricey, I understand the value of every component added to my platter!"

"Place is a diner - it is not a bbq joint - it is a good diner with good solid home-style cooking, great staff and good prices. Been there several times over the last year for breakfast and dinner. It is a bit small and worn, but food is good and staff friendly. And is almost always busy when been there which says something, Soup is amazing tastes like my grandmother made it. Sunday roast dinner is very good. The roast chicken is very good as well. Breakfast is good - and prices are very good. Draft is a great price - though you have a choice of one brand. It is a homey place with a lot of regulars. Will definitely keep going back. Highly recommend, but realize it is a diner."

"Visiting Kitchener, we always love going to Williams Pub. My wife loves this place however on this visit, we were disappointed. We usually go to the University St. location, but this one was on our way out so we stopped by. We arrived at 8:20 am and it opened at 8 so we were one of the first one's in. I ordered a Classic Breakfast while my wife ordered waffles. It seemed to take longer than usual to get our food as we sat in the quiet restaurant ( about 6 other people were there) . I was able to see the cook area, and saw my breakfast being put up and the bell rung. Two waitresses walked by and left the food there on the warming tray. When I saw one of the girls washing some glass near the counter, I decided to get my plate myself, hoping my wife's food would be ready soon. I was almost done eating when I noticed someone beginning the waffles. Finally the waffles arrived with an apology but I was done my plate, so I had to watch my wife eat. The food was good though my wife thought there should have been more berries on her waffle. Not our usual experience at a Williams Pub, so we will return but maybe not at this location."

"The patio is attractive but not practical as the umbrellas don't give you shade, depending on the time of day! (The umbrellas were difficult to move between tables and are not the type you can tilt and swivel. So to avoid sitting in the burning sun, we asked to sit inside after all that kerfuffle and lifting, and our young waiter was super nice about it all, having tried to help us out. Inside is a great atmosphere for gatherings (large booths, some sports monitors, roomy, shiny, clean space but the food was hit-and-miss (tuna bowl fried chicken good; standard burger and fish tacos meh . They do have options for gluten-free and vegans, plus kids' menu. Go here for the vibe and beer. 3.5 stars"

"This review is long over due.My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Cambridge about 6 years ago. We come here about once a week. It’s our go to place to enjoy great food and great service. We look forward to our weekly visit :)The owners are a husband and wife team that are really passionate about their restaurant and have done such a great job to ensure their customers enjoy a great experience. They are really sincere about ensuring their customers are happy.This is most evident in the attitudes and actions of their employees. We like to sit out on their patio and every time we come we feel most welcomed by the two people that look after their patio.Monica and Natalie greet us by name and sincerely make us feel welcome and that they value us coming to their restaurant.Keep up the great work !!!!"

"Honestly this was our 2nd choice but it turned out great. We were seated in the bar area at a booth , our server Justin ? Jason) was there in an instant. The place was about 2/3rds full so pretty busy. He came by dropped menu's...and said he'd be back in a minit, within that minit another server came to our table said it was busy and offered to get our drinks. She delivered our drinks it seemed instantly. J came took our orders dropped off bread and we were on our way to dining heaven. Never waited for anything ! The food was hot delicious and a good portion, if only our local Eastsides was as good I won't tell you it's Peterborough) We're in Cambridge a few times a year we'll be back."
