"Food Hall has been around for a while but have not been able to dine there until now. The ambience is perfect for date night with the dim lights. Servers are attentive and selection of food and drinks is varied enough to suit your date's...palate. We ordered the raw oysters for starters which are nice because they were huge! Then we had vongole for our pasta and crispy pork for our meat. The vongole was different that most I tried. Mainly because they use habd-rolled pasta which did not absorb the sauce well so it is a bit saucy. Nevertheless, I found the sauce good. It would have been better if the pasta dish was served with bread so we can mop up the sauce with it. I imagine it would have been delicious. The crispy pork we were not too happy with. The meat was tough to chew. But if you're not too fussy about food and looking for a nice place for a date, Food Hall is a nice venue."

"Some of the restaurants we love are from RainTree and we were pleased to learn that PROVIDORE is the latest addition to the ever growing RainTree family. <br>

The atmosphere is awesome and we were served well by the very efficient, beautiful and gracious Kristal.<br>

She is not the only pleasant person there. We were also greeted with a smile by...oh no! I forgot to ask. I guess she's the manager. She is the one manning the pastry section. She really looks familiar. I probably saw her at Chelsea or at the M Cafe/Kabila Bistro or something.<br>

The food tastes great too and my only (almost) complaint was that the LOVE BURGER took so long to serve. I almost cancelled it, but I am very grateful that I didn't because it was worth the wait. It was even very juicy, besides being delicious, that is.<br>

They opened last September, but how come we only noticed it now?<br>

Oh well. Maybe today was the perfect day to "discover" it.<br>

"My first visit after the renovation and the management added non-vegan items which is disappointing but I understand. Decor was downgraded from restaurant that serves wine ambiance to next door diner ambiance. There was a shelf for a mini-grocery with a mishmash of items, some expired. Despite that, they kept the high prices and maybe even increased. Vegan ice cream was 100, now it's 160. I'm willing to pay for good vegan food but these prices are unreasonable. They kept the vegan menu items I liked. Waitstaff were very attentive and gave good service. Food was slow to come, same as before."
