"We found juicy Lucy on a recommendation from a friend, and it definitely went beyond my expectations. The food was delicious, everything was seasoned and prepared well and the presentation was exceptional) see the pictures) In addition to the barbecue, the fried chicken was outstanding! I would be remiss if I did not mention that the bartenders did an exceptional job mixing the drinks, and the wait staff was friendly bubbly and full of suggestions. There was a toddler in our party and they also went out of their way to accommodate his needs for crayons and more attention! I guess that the south of New York can compare to the south itself when it comes to barbecue this is as good as anything I've had south of the Mason Dixon line."

"I don 't do reviews much, but my wife was craving Jamaican Food and I was not looking to drive on a weekend to Brooklyn (gas, toll, road rage etc... I found this restaurant and being on the island I did not mind the drive. Its by the court house so weekends here parking is easy to find. Small shop only one table, mainly I would presume a to-go spot, but you can dine in as well if they have room. Now to the food. Curry Chicken , Jerk Chicken, Rice and Beans and White rice. Baked Mac and cheese and Plantains. large plates each, everything was AMAZING..I forgot the steamed veggies also amazing! Service was good, they let you eat in peace, and gave the occasional need anything which was fine. Nothing was stale, everything was fresh. Best thing for me was the food, duh! Would I go back? YES Would I cater a party with their food? YES Can I close my pants right now? NO....Be careful what you ask for when they say medium or large. Enjoy!"

"Poor quality control. I would not and do not want to see the kitchen in this place. The fries and onion rings were good. Being that you don 't need to keep fries or onion rings fresh, it is understandable as to why they were good. While the pulled pork on the sandwich was clearly made 3-4 days prior. The jumbo wings were cooked well, but the quality and freshness of the meat was distasteful. Poor job overall, I would give one star but it is someone 's livelihood. My suggestion, smaller portions and better quality. Also, clean out the freezer please."

"Special occassion or casual dining. Staff are attentive and friendly. Steak for two special is a great value and includes a bottle of wine from the wine list. Tomahawk (ribeye with the bone) Steak was cooked perfectly, sliced and plenty for 2 people. Included fresh sautéed string beans, mashed potatoes and dessert from the menu. Others raved about the short rib mac n cheese and fried chicken. The mussels and cheese board were great apps for sharing."
