"Pasta was fantastic. The mushroom pappardelle was phenomenal and had a nice rich flavor, the meatballs in the spaghetti were delicious and soft, the carbonara was decent (a miss for me).Basket of bread was stale and not worth the price. Didn’t even come with anything, we had to ask for butter or olive oil and they brought out just olive oil.Service was lackluster. The owner was super friendly but only came around to our table twice and with quite a bit of time in between each time. Otherwise, we had to call out for the waiter for anything else."

"Had we found this restaurant on our first night we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. The food was exceptional and the staff was SO nice. It said high end dining and we got it. The nice part is that the restaurant wasn't stuffy so we could eat an amazing meal without dressing to the nines (although we did look nice) bcse to be honest after two days of ziplining and horseback riding I don't know if I could have put on heels!"

"When we arrived at the restaurant they told us they could not find our reservation. Fine. When I showed the confirmed reservation on my phone they took our name down and told us the wait would be “5 minutes”. Five minutes turned into 40 minutes until we asked the hostess what the status was. They then informed us there was no table available for our original reservation and sat us in the main restaurant, not the back ski chalet area, with no apology or explanation. It’s fine if there was a glitch in the system, but we didn’t appreciate being lied to about the situation and being forced to wait an extraneous about of time when they knew they had no availability and when we could’ve easily gone to a different establishment instead of wasting an hour waiting for a nonexistent table."

"Food was quite good; delivered hot and in a timely manner. Service was poor; I had to ask three times for bread before it was finally delivered, shortly before I finished my meal. Manager finally came and refilled our water, also toward the end of the meal. Our waiter was polite and seemed to be trying, but very inexperienced—she needs a lot more training and guidance to do a better job. The upper room was very noisy. Considering the fairly high prices, it was poor value for money. Which is a pity, since my family and I have enjoyed meals at Il Porto in the past."
