"Bolton's is a real crap shoot. Have come during business and they were closed. Doesn't seem to matter what heat level you order. It's the chef's whim what you get. Food ended up tasting good but you take your chances."

"Hands down, one of the nicest atmospheres I been to my whole life. Bar was beautifully crafted, comfortable, great service and food was delicious. Had the shepherds pie and bread pudding for desert…both to die for. Definitely a must visit in Nashville. You will not be disappointed."

"I love Barr's Music City Soul Food. I often get it directly after work. I have no idea what happened with my order. The Smothered Pork Chops were terrible. They were overcooked, dry, cold as hell... and the gravy was congealed and never melted. It was never anything but a gel regardless of heat or water added or whatever. I shouldn't have eaten it. The macaroni and cheese was decent. The dressing was dried crumbs, and they did not put any gravy on it. I'm not gonna lie. I was grateful for the lack of gravy. The Peach Cobbler was the only thing that was hot, and it was fairly peach less. They included another dessert at no extra charge, and that red velvet cake was delicious. The roll was fine and they included a cornbread muffin which was decent too. I'll give them another chance IN PERSON so I can see what's good and what looks old. I feel like my plate was frozen and they had to defrost it. Soggy and pretty bad overall. They have a good track record with me, so this time... they're forgiven."

"We stopped here twice. Once for food and drinks and went back just for drinks and music. The live music is worth stopping for. The food was okay. The macaroni and cheese was disappointing but the chicken and steak were good. Friendly staff."

"This is an outdoor eating or to go restaurant. They do have signs saying order here and eat next door at Mickey's, but we chose to eat outside since it was nice. The food is to die for. The Italian beef is spicy and well made. It's not as large as that of those in Chicago, but it is a good substitute for being away from Illinois. The pasta bowl is decently sized. I did the mushroom and onions/peppers on farfalle and you definitely get lots of veggies! The focaccia is by far the best I've probably ever had. It's moist and salty and you can taste the olive oil. The fresh cut fries were awesome. You get a lot of fries, so much that they couldn't be finished. I had leftover pasta to bring home that will taste delicious tonight! The outdoor seating has umbrellas and you get some interesting entertainment if you stay long enough as there is a cigarette/liquor store across the way. Parking is a little confusing and if it is busy, you won't find a place to park at all. Otherwise, I will definitely be stopping in to eat again! Very friendly staff and delicious food!"

"Very expensive for what you get. Food was average at best. I ordered the smoked pulled pork. I couldn't taste any smoke flavor what so ever. My sides were fries and mac and cheese. It's hard to mess up fries, those were good. The Mac and cheese however was very plain tasting. Atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was very good. Being in the resort is a huge plus. However you are trading convenience for quality of food and price"
