"Called in after a lovely walk through the woods at Colby Woodland. I chose the Gardeners Salad and it was lovely and different. The salads were gorgeous. Then had to decide on the cake. Everything looked lovely but settled on the date and apple crumble. I don't often review on TripAdvisor but thought this place was definitely worth a 5 star. Thanks for a lovely snack."

"Use the cafe when ever staying nearby. Service very friendly and helpful. Menu good for snacks and lunch. We had tasty sandwiches, but maybe they could offer a choice of salad instead of chips as a side. Don't always want double carbs."

"They make them good from the beginning, we came without booking I would recommend the booking, since it is very busy, they found us table after a short wait, and young it was worth waiting to eat fantastic, service was also excellent and staff where very friendly, my recommendation when they are in the opposite, they need to eat here! until soon"

"A very welcome relief from the heat on the exposed coastal path. located on the sea of the harbour, with views of the yachts. we swooped directly from the start ramp, under the boots, then dried and ate fresh cocks and ginger ale on the balcony. an oasis for hikers"

"We popped in on a busy night, no booking but luckily they found us table. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, freshly cooked with generous portions. I had the salmon tagliatelle which was lovely, so tasty. My friend had fish and chips, the fish was huge with lovely crispy batter. Two winning meals. A great place on the sea front. I will definitely return."

"It consisted of a meal here at the first night of our stay based on the reviews I had previously read. my man had the Chinese new year special and I had the butternut squash pizza. while both were nice, they weren't very great. So I was a little disappointed to be honest."

"Twinkly lights, fire pit, cosy pod and fantastic food. What a great evening spent in the Secret Garden. Trying to avoid infection because of recent treatment and it was so lovely to be able to enjoy the great outdoors. Fantastic idea. Will be back. Waiter...was first class too."

"The staff were very friendly and attentive, the breakfast was very tasty and the surroundings of the hotel were very pleasant. The decor inside the hotel however, is very dated and could do with modernising. The mattress on my bed was so soft that it offered no support and was very uncomfortable (The three family members who were also staying in the hotel, also felt the same way with their mattresses). I could feel the springs underneath, so that was quite unpleasant and it didn't make for a comfortable nights sleep. It wasn't an awful stay by any means and this review is based purely on my personal experience."
