"Just dreadful. We'd wandered past a couple of times and it semed popular so took that to be a recommendation. I shouldn't have... Service was slow, didn't mind so much about that, we were on holiday so not in a rush. The real issue was the food. My partner ordered a chicken milanese, which resembled a betaen old shoe leather more than it did a chicken escalope. It turned out to be inedible and went back to the kitchen, and he declined their offer to recook it after seeing the monstrosity that i had also been served up. I'd ordered Lasagne. Surely that couldn't be too difficult? I had spotted on the menu that it said it contained ham. I cook a lot, and if i'm doing a really good ragu will use pancetta for that added depth, i presumed this Is what is referred to. Turns out i was wrong. With every sheet of pasta, there was a slice of budget sandwich ham, The weirdest thing ever. I was hungry and didn't want to appear too rude so didn't send it back, but should have done. I can eat most things, and I'm certainly not fussy, but couldn't actually finish this. My daughter ordered a margherita pizza. At a pizza restaurant. That was definitely going to be okay, surely? No, this child will eat all pizza, even those horrid budget ones, but couldn't eat this. Undercooked, doughy and utterly tasteless. Not an experience i'd be keen to repeat."
