"Having heard alot of good reviews from our french friends we thought we must check this new restaurant out. We were very pleased we did.Its unusual these days to go out for a meal where everything tastes delicious and the whole experience is memorable.Hats off to La Poulpette as they've really got it right.There are two choices from each course or you can take the set menu at 26€ and they surprise you with their choice, i loved that!Every dish was seasonal, well balanced and creative yet not fussy. Excellent home cooking.Good sellection of wines and very good knowledgeable service.Cant wait to go again. A lovely fresh change for CognacWell done!"

"After a long hard day on the motos we fancied some Asian food and walked to this restaurant. We were hesitant at first as it was completely empty at 7:45pm, but we took a chance and were glad we did. We were looked after by a lovely lady from Thailand, and I suspect the Thai influence extended to the food also, as it was not what I would describe as Cantonais. The food was excellent, from the nems to start with their spicy dip, to some very tasty noodle and meat dishes. I especially liked the noodles with ground porc. Great food and tasted freshly prepared. By the time we left it was filling up, so we must have just been early. Would definitely recommend and return."

"Visited this restaurant for the first time and was not only enthusiastic about the delicious food, but about the creativity in the design and presentation of the chef. we were a party of three and we chose different dishes each. every cure was delicious. the simple sounding artichoke was incredible. it was designed to look like a little artichoke, but was made of artichoke empura, small green basil ravioliis with a maus of artichoke heart in the center all beautifully flavored and absolutely delicious. lobster is one of my favourites, but it is very difficult to have it perfectly cooked. this boil produced a fabulous lobster dish with all the succulent confluence that you hope to trim with delicious sweetness in a beautiful, intense lobster sauce. the love for detail, especially in the sight of the sweetness that was a tasty bite in itself, was really remarkable. this restaurant is not cheap, but the quality is very good the price. the restaurant itself is stunning, the service was excellent without the formal behavior of the waiters sometimes found in michelin stars restaurants (they were smiling and friendly.) we could not recommend this restaurant very much."
