"Absolutely THE BEST meal ever! All, home grown in their garden made from scratch in their kitchen, foods served thanksgiving style from an old stove on antique dinnerware. Pan fried chicken, salt cured ham, beef stew, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, carrots, collard greens, homemade Cole slaw, hominy, white rice, okra, fried apples, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes straight from the garden. Fresh homemade biscuits with perfectly golden brown bottoms right from the oven with whipped butter and apple butter sauce made in the kitchen. Strawberry shortcake, chocolate pudding, or rice pudding for dessert. Seating is very limited so plan to wait and be sure to sign in right when you get there so your name is on the list. Highly recommend this place as a history lesson for kids. The only problem I could see is for persons with limited vision it is VERY dark inside."

"First, I have to give support to all of the actors and waitstaff of this production. It was clear their dedication to their craft. The show is very fast-paced with a lot happening all around. This is good and bad. There was so much to see....and also so much to see it was hard to take it all in.Our waiter was very attentive. The food was the least desired part of the production. The soup was not my favorite at all. It was a creamed typed vegetable. The biscuits were ok. The chicken was rubbery. You also got a piece of ham. The best thing was the apple crossiant for dessert and my Coke to drink.Next, was not a concern the organization could really address...but rather just inconsiderate people. The seating was a long leather bench. There were no individual chairs to move about. The family who sat next to me made the experience rather unjoyful. The one parent was determined to get continuous photos of the rest of the family. This meant her leaning back into my personal space and plate to take her pictures. Inconsiderate people aided into my regret of attending. This was after I had paid extra for premium seating.Again, I do not want to take away from the hard work of the wait staff and the actors/actresses. They are very well trained in the acrobatics that were preformed, the swimming, and singing."
