"I haven't been here for awhile but took my family here for a birthday dinner. The Tuna Tataki was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Fire Roll, Crazy Girl and others. Food came quickly and staff were friendly and accommodating. They miss a 5 from me as service was very slow to start, though once it did it was an enjoyable meal."

"Very fresh and delicious. Carefully prepared with nice dish presentation. A bit pricey in comparison to other similar restaurants. Veggie Pho is not entirely vegetarian, as it is cooked in a beef broth. Yet the choice of a vegetarian salad roll was a nice surprise, as it came with tofu. Their regular salad roll, contains shrimp and pork; so not a dish for pescatarians. Servers were rather friendly and paid attention to detail, on whether we had any allergies or not. Busy and filled with patrons. We always had our water glasses filled. A lovely dining experience in the end."

"This is currently my favourite downtown restaurant. I am a bit of a food snob, and I can honestly say that Mittz Kitchen not only offers fantastic food; but a fabulous, friendly atmosphere and attentive (but not intrusive) staff. Just eat here. Oh, and try the braised short ribs...you won't be disappointed."

"This is the first time we visited this restaurant on our road trip back from Surrey, BC. My sister called ahead to ask if they could cook vegetarian cuisine without Onion/Garlic for a group of 9 people. ( usually most Indian restaurants premake the sauces, so our choices are limited.) At Vyanjan, we were readily assured that we can order ahead and by the time we reach there, the food would be ready. The chef personally called us later to check our ETA and when we got there, everything come out piping hot. For spicy lovers, the medium spicy would be a very treat, as some places claim spicy which comes out as mild. Over here, spicy means business! My mom and sister loved it. For myself and the kids, we got non spicy paneer makhni, Alu channa and saffron rice. The kids enjoyed a lot! Me and my brother-in -law ordered the mango drink, and out of all the places I've tried, this one was by far the most original! The mango tasted like it was just squeezed out from a ripe juicy mango plucked right out of the tree, with a touch of black pepper to give it a kick! Really enjoyed it! For Bollywood music lovers, there was a tv playing romantic Hindi music with lyrics, which complimented the decor and the atmosphere. As for the service, our server Raman was fantastic! She was very friendly and attentive. Our experience was very nice here. Thanks to the chef, Mr Buddhi. We had a great time!"

"We got to Kamloops and we're exhausted. We checked into our hotel but the restaurant on site didn't have any veggie options. We called Mauryas and they delivered within an hour with disposable plates and cutlery. It was so great to be able to eat Indian food without leaving our hotel!"
