"My family of three had dinner at Witchcraft last night. It was our first time there and we went based on friends recommendations. We ordered the buffalo chicken kettle nachos (full order) even though the server advised it was a large portion. We did finish the order but were pretty full after when our other orders came. We thought the nachos were just ok with not a lot of flavour. I realized after we ate them that there was Frank's hot sauce in a bottle on the table beside the ketchup which would have livened them up for sure. My 16 year old son ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese which he enjoyed (took 3/4 of it home since he was stuffed.) My wife ate his salad which she enjoyed. My wife and I were splitting the breaded chicken burger but she was too full to have any. I ate half and found it way too bland (son ate other 1/2 for lunch next day.) It needed much more mayo so I ended up soaking it in Frank's which made it a bit better. The fries were really good as was the service. Our server was very accomodating and friendly. My wife had a caesar which she liked but noticed a fish bowl drink (server said it was sangria) that she wished she would have ordered instead for a buck or two extra. All in all we will most likely return to try the nachos again along with a fish bowl of sangria."

"Called ahead and made a reservation so we could celebrate a birthday on the deck on a sunny Wednesday night. Called ahead to see if there were certain things on the feature sheet. Guaranteed there were. Got there and we were told we could wait at the bar for a table on the deck but we were 4th . THen told that the seafood dish we specifically called about was NOT in fact on the menu that night. Then found out they were out of Wings and a few other things on the menu (!!!???) The server was lovely and not at all her fault. We all felt very sorry for her. IF we had just walked in off the street it would have been a bummer but to have made arrangements and then drive for 60 minutes to get there. 60 min home. Extremely disappointing. Terrible way to do business."

"So there we were 7:30 Friday night, really in the mood for Japanese food, (knowing this was late for Maple Ridge)I checked FB looking for some hidden gem, again knowing this was late for our fun city, read good things about Sushi Umibe, decided to give it a try, boy were we glad we did!Chicken teriyaki was amazing- crispy pieces of chicken with the perfect amount of sauce, not over loaded and drowning in it.The 2 rolls we tried were new to us but again did not disappoint:Umibe Roll said it was spicy but it wasn't too much, just the right amount of heat in the spicy mayoProsciutto Roll- perfect balance of salty and sweet with mango sauce topped with a caper on each piece.The service was amazing! As soon as we walked in the door, we had a warm welcome from I'm guessing the owner. The young lady serving us was constantly on the ready, always keeping an eye on our tea level, which, by the way, has a nice nutty flavour.The food was fast, fresh, hot and oh so tasty! This will be our new go to."

"Love this little family run restaurant. I believe it is husband and wife run and they are always friendly and the food delicious! The restaurant itself is a little hole in the wall which often turn out to be the best kind! We usually order out however have eaten there once. We usually order veggie samosas, butter chicken, lamb tikki masala and then sample something new."
