"Odered the sushi ?deluxe?. The order came with one tuna nigiri, 3 salmon, 2 yellow tail, and 4 tilapia pieces. I asked the waiter if they meant to include 4 tilapia pieces he informed me that those were actually yellowtail. I guess some peoplebelieve that. I said that I was expecting an assortment of fish since if I wanted tuna, salmon, and yellow tail, I would haveordered the Triple Sushi for less money. He pointed to the menu and informed me that the selection was the chef?s choice.Alrighty then. Defeated by logic, I started consuming the meal. Fish was tough and didn?t taste very fresh. Not sure how thisplace has a 4.4."

"Consistently delicious and fast South Indian Restaurant! The paper dosas are very crispy and made perfectly every time. We also get a refreshing mango lassi or hot chai to drink with our meal. It’s a casual, no frills interior but highly recommend for vegetarian folks or just if you’d like to try South Indian food!"

"This place is absolutely delicious and so a good one. I visited family in medium town and this food was so delicious, I might have to go there to go again! I loved the Tandoori chickens and curry vanillas so much that I would order again in a heartbeat, although the rest of the menu looked so good! I'll be back soon!"

"Ashley, one of the owners, is such a welcoming person. I'm so glad my boyfriend and I were able to get to know her personally during our first visit when she came over to our booth. We also met Jennifer, the chef, and she's AWESOME! Shawn, my boyfriend, ordered the chicken biscuit and gravy and when Jennifer came out to check on us when we talked with Ashley, Shawn mentioned how much he loved the sausage gravy and she went above and beyond when she brought over a generous bowl more of it. We have Anonda as our server and she's just as welcoming and hospitable. She told us about the peach waffle cobbler that Jennifer made for everyone today and how delicious it was for the staff who tried it. Super personable and totally sold me on trying the peach cobbler waffle. I wasn't feeling waffles but I'm so glad she convinced me to try it. I LOVED it! It was sweet and fulfilling with small beignets on top. Not to mention, Shawn's meal was savory. So you have sweet or savory to choose from. The owners, Matt and Ashley, found an amazing chef in Jennifer. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with hospitable staff. Overall, if you want to feel welcome, enjoy a quality meal at a reasonable price, and love an atmosphere the owners poured their heart into, this is the place for you. The bourbon was delicious! Shawn tried the bourbon old fashioned and it even came with a piece of bacon submerged. I haven't even mentioned how beautiful and intimate the aesthetic of the restaurant is. Ashley mentioned how she worked on the wall where our booth is when the pandemic began. It all started with a bottle of bourbon. The restaurant truly has a lot of personable and vintage touches while remaining modern and enjoyable. 1861 is definitely my favorite place to be now. Shawn and I can't wait to come back again"

"So good! Had a GREAT ginger and pork dish, excellent fresh rolls with a delicious peanut sauce, and finished things with fresh mangoes with coconut sticky rice. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while, and for a very reasonable price!"
