"An expensive mediocre experience sums up our visit today. I wanted to order the Southwest Taco Salad until I was asked what kind of protein I wanted and informed that if I wanted taco meat it would be another $5.75 on top of the $17. A taco salad...without the taco meat...ludicrous. So then I ordered the Thai Peanut Wrap and paid for my protein of choice, in this case chicken, and an extra $5 or so dollars, still under $20 so ok, I can live with that. When it arrived I could tell right away it was dry but I decided to give it a go. It so dry and tasteless I could not eat it. The peanut sauce didn't taste like anything other than peanut butter and they grilled the wrap with lettuce inside so it was slimey and gross. I tried taking the filling out of the wrap to see if it would help, still dry and tasteless. This shouldn't even be on the menu. It's not that the cooks didn't anything wrong, it's just a bad recipe. My husband's BLT was very tasteless and the bread was very over toasted and the bacon was hard. I will say though that the fries were good, so at least there's that. It's really unfortunate, I used to love The Hideout, but I don't love this new direction they've decided to try. They did give me a $5 coupon because I didn't eat the wrap...but I won't be back. Such a beautiful location, it could be great."

"By far one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Red Deer. After trying many different places Indian Flame was the best and most consistent. Great fan of garlic naan, chicken vindaloo, tikka masala, mago chicken and gobi pakora. If you haven't tried yet, give it!"

"We were travelling all day and got in late and ordered delivery through Skip. The food was amazing! When we opened the containers they were all picture perfect and tasted excellent. Way better than we were expecting to find so late in the evening. We loved every bit of it. Oh, and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and quantity. We’ve often paid more for less.Highly recommend.Thank you so much Sushi Koon!"

"Absolutely impressed by this restaurant. I ordered takeout. Friendly staff, if I picked up my order and couldn't get home fast enough to try it. Padthai, ginger cattle and Thai spring rolls were fabulous. Very fresh tasting and generous portions. best thai in Red Deer hands down. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something new to try!"

"Stopped for lunch. The adult lunch buffet was priced at $12.99. Surprised to find a large selection of western dishes, in addition to over 20 Chinese entrees,, plus soups, a large salad bar, and a large dessert selection. There was a great selection of all areas of food. All the food was fresh, good tasting. The service was very good and friendly. A good place to eat at a great value."
