"Best North Indian found in Bay Area so far ! Every item on their menu is delicious, We tried pani puri, chole kulcha (best) , raj kachori (best) , paneer Paratha and falooda rasamalai. If you are carving North Indian/Punjabi food, this is the best place. I haven’t found a better North Indian restaurant in Bay Area better or even closer to this. Amazing ambiance, nice and clean!"

"Visiting after 4 years, definitely I found improved food quality. The Tom Yum soup still was average, but I liked the Beef salad. I have not seen this salad in other Thai places, and this one did impress me. Also ordered Lemongrass chicken that was quite good too, although a bit on the sweeter side. Another disappointment was Roti Curry. The Roti was hard and seemed to be old, cooked and reheated few times.Cannot say it is great food, just an average thai food. In fact I was very upset with their Pad Thai and Full Garlic Fish. Their mango salad was good but again nothing extraordinary from other Thai cusines. Same with Tom Yum soup, I have had better Tom Yum soups"

"Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu with a V , and gluten free is marked with GF . I always appreciate when a restaurant uses clear labels! I tried the samosa, spring rolls, and vegetable yellow thai curry with rice. I finished everything but it was all pretty bland. I didn 't think the food was bad, but considering there are similar options in the area that are full of flavor, it 's hard to give a higher rating."

"The atmosphere at Pho Hoa Janzen Tea is nice: light, bright and airy. The skylight and greenery give the place some character. Young staff were polite but not very personable. They seemed diligent and hard working. They were constantly bussing, wiping down and restocking condiments on the tables. Appreciated the bottles of hand sanitizer at each table. Got popcorn chicken and 2 drinks. The chicken was haphazardly cut so the bigger pieces were juicy but the smaller ones were dry and stringy. The calamansi juice had chia seeds and mango bits while the green tea had strawberry and mango bits. The drinks themselves were OK but the fruit bits weren't good. The mango wasn't ripe and the strawberries were sour. Liked the short and squat cups, very stable and not tipsy. Won't write off this place just yet. Will try their pho before rendering judgment."
