"Arrived in Hobart today, picked up our car & headed into the city. After checking out a few places to eat we settled on Pearl & Co at Victoria Dock. Fish & Chips plus Fisherman's Basket & a combo salad of choice. You can get a combo of 2 or 3 salads. Salads very tasty & fresh.Fisherman's Basket had generous servings & the fish & chips were fresh. Food was well cooked, service friendly, Staff helpful & atmosphere buzzy. Food arrived very quickly. There was a cheerful combination of locals & tourists in the restaurant which is set up as a very open plan dining space. There's a cracking view of the water & all the busyness surrounding it from almost any table."

"A family holiday to such a lovely destination of our beautiful country ending with a bad note left by this business and their employees. Traveling with a baby can be daunting enough and as new parents my wife and I try to be as prepared...as possible. When we arrived at the airport to depart to find our flight delayed due to inbound delays we ran out of the supply of hot water for formula to bottle feeding our daughter. Upon asking the Cafe staff for plain hot water to go into our daughters bottle, we were refused unless we paid the cafe $2. Now in the grand scheme of things $2 is not much and we did pay, though I found myself and the other customers who surely heard the request disgusted with the un-Australian practice of this cafe and their staff. We are a multicultural family who are always proud to say we are Australian and have Australian values of helping our fellow Australians and others when in a pickle. I would implore any traveler if in need for any assistance while in this airport to steer clear of this cafe as a simple request for plain hot tap water is charged at $2, I would hate to see what else they charge for."

"Seriously we paid the top price for a “real” pizza and it was 95% dough, the bareste scattering of topping and we felt like we were punched in the stomach. I counted exactly 7 pieces of pineapple on the big pizza and introduced me a few annoying...pizza makers hardly put anything on my head. That was a joke for what we paid."

"We all chose meals from the menu and after waiting 30+ minutes before being told they couldn’t cook our meals due to kitchen issues but could provide pizza. The pizzas were fantastic so we were happy. However, speaking to other friends who has also been...in January, they had the same experience. Do they have a kitchen???? I think they should stick with a simple pizza menu."

"Been a while since I visited Hobart, found a cafe that I had visited previously. Today was exceptional, they were busy but the food and coffee arrived in minutes, a delicious big breakfast, good coffee. Service was prompt and cheerful, can only say it improved...on good.."
